You must make your way through the map while avoiding the hazards as you make your way to the various levels, or acts. Several of these pitfalls may be sidestepped with relative ease. You may maintain your forward momentum with a well-timed leap, roll, or dodge. When you encounter one lethal trap after another, timing and acting quickly will be essential to your life. Some dangers are mobile, while others are permanently installed. Take a moment to study the movement patterns of moving traps, and then adjust your behavior properly before attempting to avoid them. Checkpoints are represented by the flagpoles that may be seen strewn over the playing field. You are able to respawn at the checkpoint that is now active. At any one moment, there can only be one checkpoint that is active. In some instances, you will be required to have a key in order to unlock the door to a promotion. It is not a simple task to get those keys. If you continue to pay attention to what is going on around you, you will be able to stay alive.
